Richard Winnie: From Broadway to NBC Universal

Richard Winnie's journey through the entertainment world is nothing short of remarkable. In this Edutainment Learning interview, students from around the world sit down with Richard as he shares how he went from acting on stage to managing Broadway touring shows like Beatlemania, Ain’t Misbehavin’, and the off-Broadway hit Little Shop of Horrors—and ultimately rose to become the Senior Vice President of Post Production for Universal Television & UCP at NBC Universal. Richard discusses his early hustle learning filmmaking on student projects, taking a 75% pay cut to enter TV post-production, and rising through Lorimar, Warner Bros, and finally NBC.
