RIP Eddie Van Halen

from CLASSIC ROCK CRUSADERS! · host Stephen

As Billy Joel once famously said, "Only the Good Die Young."  That sure applied to Eddie, who left this mortal earth about a year and a half ago.  This episode captures the Classic Rock Crusaders shortly after Eddie's death, as they mourn and praise the guitar god for his impressive body of work.  Join them in this salute Eddie, Dave, Alex, and Michael for all the fun times and memories they created for Classic Rock fans.   Along the way discover how they single-handedly revitalized the Classic Hard Rock genre, just as the biggest hard rock bands of the early 70's were breaking up (Deep Purple) or starting to run out of steam (Led Zeppelin).  With disco on one side of them, and punk rock on the other, they blazed their own trail and soared above the others all the way into the 80's while their peers crashed and burned behind them.  Who knows if Eddie is "Runnin' With the Devil" or getting ready to "Dance the Night Away" in his current state?   One thing is for sure, he is bound to be causing some type of "Eruption" wherever he is.
