Jake also comments on the wins for Purdue and Indiana last night in their second to final regular season game before the Big Ten Tournament. (28:57-34:32) – Whilst at the gym last night, someone approached Jake to have a conversation about the Indianapolis Colts, specifically the futures of Alec Pierce and Daniel Jones. He shares what that conversation entailed because there was a different aspect to the situation that he hadn’t considered. Jake also asks Davey about what makes Alex Palou so dominant, if he has ever seen a driver in a zone like Palou is right now and goes back to losing out to Helio Castroneves in the 2021 Indy 500 because that could have changed his approach in the cockpit. (1:21:52-1:27:52) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie discussing the Chicago Bears trading D.J. Moore to the Buffalo Bills. Is that good news for the Colts?     (1:27:52-1:54:08) – Horizon League Interim Commissioner, Chris Neuman, joins Jake Query ahead of the men’s and women’s basketball tournament at Corteva Coliseum this weekend. Jakea asks her about her experience this year as the interim commissioner of the Horizon League, what she enjoys the most about the position, and her future with the league with the next commissioner being decided already. (1:54:08-2:11:50) – Jake pays tribute to the late great Lou Holtz by sharing some tidbits of information that he has learned about the former Notre Dame head coach over the years. Former Fighting Irish & NFL defensive back, Jeff Burris, calls into the program to share how Holtz recruited him to Notre Dame, if he ever addressed his one failure in front of the guys, and shares what he’s doing now that mimics what his college coach would preach to him as a player.
