RNLI issue warnings ahead of the arrival of storm Eowyn

Sligo Bay RNLI has issued a stark warning ahead of the arrival of Storm Éowyn. A red weather alert is coming into effect for Sligo and Leitrim at 4am tomorrow morning and will be in effect until 12 noon on Friday. A separate red warning will be in place for Donegal at 6am tomorrow morning until 3pm tomorrow. The storm is set to cause a danger of life, bringing hazardous and uncertain conditions. People are being urged to exercise extreme caution, particularly along exposed cliffs, seafronts, piers and waterside paths. Aisling Gillen, Life Boat Press Officer with the Sligo Bay RNLI  has this advice:
