This is a transition point where women ask, 'What do I want to do and who do I want to be now?'Women in careers begin to question what success really is. This is a normal and common experience! Becca guides moms through specific steps to figuring out what comes next. She initially asks women to: Identify overlap between interests and passions, skills and strengths and value add to others.Make a list of your skills.Ask: Who can you help? Who would hire you to help them? What specific amount of money do you need to make? Before you change careers, it’s critical that you go through a process of evaluation so you don’t end up swapping one career that doesn’t make you happy for another.Sometimes you have to give yourself permission to ask the tough questions and change direction.Doing the introspection isn't necessarily easy to do alone or to even carve out the time we need to do this important processing but, it's important to get the support we need. Our happiness and satisfaction in our career directly impacts the quality of every other aspect of our lives. Success is different for everyone. You can consider:What does it look like for you? What are the goals for your future self? And, are the decisions I’m making aligned with my goals? It’s also important to check your goals and make sure they are still taking you in the direction you want to go. You can change your mind along the way.FIND BECCA:  https://beccacarnahan.comFind Robin: www.quittingculture.comTake the Parenting Archetype Style Quiz here and find out which of the 8 Archetypes you are!  If this episode resonated with you, you might enjoy our free People Skillz community — a structured space to practice steadier, more intentional communication.
