Rocky Rodriguez | Everyone's Journey is Unique

from Confessions from the SideLines · host Sarah L. Cowart

Many of you know I spent over 10 years working in college athletics. During that time, I got to meet some incredible athletes. One of those athletes is Raquel "Rocky" Rodriguez. Rocky was a member of the Penn State Women's Soccer Team where she was a 4 year starter. As captain of the team in 2015, the Penn State Women's Soccer Team went on to win the National Championship. Rocky received numerous awards while at Penn State - including the Mac Hermann Trophy. As a member of the 2015 Costa Rica Women's national team, Rocky scored the first ever goal for Costa Rica in the Women's world cup. She as also the second overall draft pick in the 2016 National Women's Soccer League. The list of accomplishments that Rocky has achieved is a LONG one!
