Roma Oscars Review - The Oz Network Movies

It's long overdue that we should look at a black and white Mexican film but that day has finally arrived as we look at our next Oscars Best Picture nominee for 2019 in one of the favourites for the win, Roma. Is this a movie that Ben & Colin really thought they ever would be reviewing? What is it about the style of this movie that makes it so engaging to watch? Is there a nostalgia aspect to this film which makes it so popular? Can we comment on the acting when we can't understand what they say except for the subtitles? Did Jamie appreciate the male nudity in this film? Does it feel as though we are dropped right into the middle of a story without any context and does that weirdly work? Does it being in black and white make it better to watch? And can this movie sweep all the awards it's nominated for?
