Romans 1 - Faith The Only Way to Experience God

from Pastor Mike Impact Ministries · host Michael L Grooms

Today, Monday December 28 – Romans 1 – If you want to find out what happened yesterday, read the newspaper or listen to the news reports on the radio or television.  But if you want to find out why it happened and what is going to happen in the future, read the Bible! This first chapter of Romans gives us one of the clearest pictures in the Bible of what will happen to any culture, society or nation that refuses to be thankful and acknowledge the Creator God of the universe! Remember, Paul makes it clear that the only way to begin to know and have a relationship with this great God, is through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And of course many people struggle with that! Our human nature says, “I’ll believe it when I see it”. But in the spiritual world it is just the opposite. The Bible says, “You will see it after you first believe it.” Jesus said it this way in John 3, “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” And the new birth only comes by faith into our lives. Just like our five senses give us the ability to perceive, experience and enjoy the physical world around us, faith is the spiritual ability and only way to perceive, experience and enjoy the Spiritual world! Romans 1:17 “…the righteousness of God is reveal from faith to faith…” Everything that has to do with God and the Spiritual world, begins with faith, continues with faith and ends with faith! “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher, the founder and perfecter of our faith…” (Hebrews 12:2) Jesus is waiting for you to believe in Him today! God bless!
