Romans 12:2 - God's Way to Success

from Pastor Mike Impact Ministries · host Michael L Grooms

Today, Sunday March 14 Romans 12:1-2 – God’s Way to Success No one wakes up in the morning and immediately begins to think, “I wonder what I can do today to be a lousy failure.” God has made all of us with an innate desire to be successful. We have a natural desire to be loved and accepted. And God has given us a very clear formula in His Word that gives us the path to genuine fulfilment, success and prosperity. The LORD showed up to encourage and instruct Joshua on the eve of his taking over the leadership of Israel with the task of leading them over the Jordan River into the Promise Land and to take possession of it. God said, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”  (Joshua 1:8-9) Very simply said: “Memorize and think about the Bible day and night and let it guide you in every decision you make, and in everything you do, and you will be guaranteed prosperity and good success.” I am convinced that we can applied this great promise to our own lives today! In the very first Psalm, David wrote, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night.  He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” We have a choice to make every morning! We can take the time to take in God’s Word, and think about it throughout the day, or to follow the path and ways of the ungodly world around us! What is your choice today? God bless!
