Romans 3 - We Are All Guilty

from Pastor Mike Impact Ministries · host Michael L Grooms

Today, Monday January 11 – Romans 3:1-20 – The wise man, Solomon said: Ecclesiastes 3:11 “He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts…” Eternity is in our hearts! There is something inside the heart of every human being, no matter who they are or where they live, that tells them that there is more to life than just being born, living a few short years, dying and being buried, and that’s the end of it!!!! Something from within tells them that there is eternity, a life after death! As I have looked at all the religions of the world, I’ve concluded that basically every religious belief is trying to answer the question, “How can I be prepared to go to the better side after I die?” It doesn’t matter what you call the religion, this is the purpose and goal of that particular belief system. And religion always answers, that there is something you must do, through good deeds, rituals or ceremonies to obtain it. But Jesus said, that the only way to prepared for eternity is to receive a gift that has already been provided. God’s grace, says that this salvation has been accomplished through the sinless life, the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the Cross, and His resurrection. But before we will can receive this gift, we must recognize our need for it! And that’s what Romans 1 to 3 is all about! This passage in Romans 3 is bringing us all to the point of proving that we are all guilty before a Holy and Righteous God! And our response should be repentance! Which means we need to turn from our sin and our religion, our attempts to gain salvation by our deeds, and we acknowledge our sinful condition and ask the Lord for mercy! I believe time is growing short for all of us. Eternity is only a step away for each of us! So today, is the best time to repent and receive this great Gift that God has provided through His Son! Please don’t delay! God bless!
