Romans 8 - No Condemnation

from Pastor Mike Impact Ministries · host Michael L Grooms

Today, Friday February 12 Romans 8 One of the greatest declarations in all the Bible, and the world for that matter, is found here in Romans 8:1!  “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus…”!  In chapters 1-3, we were found guilty of sin in God’s holy courtroom and were condemned to die.  In chapters 4 & 5, we were brought the Good News that because of one Man’s obedience we now could be made righteous before God.  In chapters 6 & 7, we learn we are no longer under the law and power of sin, but have been set free to live a new life in Christ. “Now”, present tense, we are told that because of all that God has done for us in Christ in the previous chapters, we are no longer under any condemnation of our sins or for our sinful past!  Remember Jesus Himself said in John 3:17-18 “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” It is my prayer that this declaration of “no condemnation” has become a reality to you!  The sad truth is that many believers have either never heard this truth, or have not accepted it as something personal. And because of that, they are still living under this dark cloud of condemnation and cannot enjoy all the blessing of their new life in Jesus Christ. Please take time to meditate on this wonderful truth and make it a reality in your life! God bless!
