Rossnowlagh to host Beach Clean & Swim event

Rossnowlagh Beach in Donegal will be hosting a 2 Minute Beach Clean Summer Swim event on Saturday, August 10th at 11am.Clean Coasts and Fáilte Ireland have organised the initiative to celebrate ten years of the Wild Atlantic Way, with the intention of getting people out to Irish beaches for a swim following with a quick clean-up.It’s estimated that every 2 Minute Beach Clean amounts to approximately 1kg of litter removed from the coast.Áine Lawless, Coastal Programmes Officer and 2 Minute Beach Clean Campaign Coordinator, says it’s important to enjoy Ireland’s coasts and protect them:
