Dr. Daniel Royal, DO, CTH, JD, interviews Dr. Bruce Werber, DPM, a podiatric surgeon who is also the COO of Thrivell, LLC, which produces amniosomes for clinical applications. Dr. Werber founded Amnio Technology LLC where he created and developed the processing and clinical science related to utilizing placental tissue in orthopedic medicine. Prior to founding Amnio Technology, he wrote and published two peer reviewed papers relating to using placental tissue in the treatment of diabetic wounds, plantar fasciosis and Achilles tendinosis. Dr. Werber has filed 8 patents in the area of placental tissue (2 of which have been granted and 6 of which are still pending). During the interview, Dr. Werber discusses amniosomes, the messenger used by stem cells to heal body tissues, as well as shares some personal and patient stories about the use of amniosomes.
