We got the opportunity to speak with Luca Indrio and Chad Gailey from the Oakland death metal outfit. Necrot have been building their name, fanbase, and musicianship within the last few years while touring with the likes of Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse, and Immolation. If it's one thing they learned from that amazing and humble experience – it's about building that passion for everything they do. Metal music is a place where everyone from all over the world, regardless of color, can blend in and be somewhere they belong without any repercussions. Luca started the Metal vs. Racism movement and we dive into his inspirations and motivations behind it. Aside from that, they have a new record “Mortal” set to unleash August 28th, and Luca and Chad speak out on the themes of the album and how it relates to the modern times of what it means to be human.
