The UK based musician joins IUF today to talk about his band's new highly-anticipated album “COMA.” A lot to dissect about the creation of this record as it began before the pandemic took place. In the birth stages of the process, their previous vocalist stepped down and the timing could not have been more ideal. Mikey talks about the search of landing their new and current frontman Oli Duncanson and how this was the perfect fit for THECITYISOURS. It's as if the missing piece the band needed all this time is now finally filled, even though they never knew it was a void in the first place. Things certainly have a way of working themselves out, as is the case for Mikey and his bandmates. Now on the verge of setting out to tour the UK and beyond, Mikey has been very grateful for the opportunity to do something like this again, something he has always taken to heart. It's been a struggle to overcome the last year and a half mentally for Mikey, staying busy with other aspects of his life aside from music has really opened his mind to appreciate the little things.
