Abdul, with a stage name known as Valerio Storch, talks to us about the band's 20th year of playing music with the majority of the lineup still intact. While not an easy thing to do on keeping a consistent lineup over the years, Abdul looks back on the early days of the band and the progression he and his bandmates have taken together. Now signed with a revered label like Napalm Records, Abdul is grateful that the band can continue to cut loose with their bombastic, crude, and fun humor in their lyricism. Other comedic metal acts such as Cannabis Corpse and Spinal Tap have made their trademarks, but now with Nanowar Of Steel, their new album “Dislike To False Metal” will be seeking to make its way to the top in 2023 as many fans will be getting ready to mosh to some the best heavy metal satirical anthems.
