She studied at Berklee College of Music for Bachelor and Master of music in Boston, MA. GaYoung’s purpose and passion work in making a bridge to help connect the public to society through the arts which have the power to raise awareness and facilitate communication by bringing the issues of our society. Currently, she is teaching at Universities in Korea to share the newfound power and beauty of music that she discovered through her music and life. She has released two albums which is “Sepia Painting” and “Gugak and Jazz on Canvas Live Album”. She studies the connection between Korean traditional rhythm and jazz and records her original songs that are incorporated into jazz-based on the rhythm of Korean traditional music.
