S1 E20. Manifest through triggers
from Road Least Travelled - A journey of the Soul · host Zhang Su Li
Our triggers give us insight into ourselves. We learn so much from our triggers. Use them to know who you are, use them to change hard-wired beliefs and what was programmed into you. When your internal landscape changes, that's when you manifest what you want in your external world. We don't need to learn how to manifest what we want. Just look at our triggers. Triggers might be hard to deal with. But by confronting them, and looking into what caused you to be triggered, will bring you to major breakthroughs. Triggers are things that people say, or things that happen to cause irritation, discomfort, sadness or anger in us. It’s normal for us to react instantly, and blame the other person for what they said. Triggers are the best indicators of our mental and spiritual health. At the time that someone triggers us, yes, it can be difficult to remain calm. Our ego takes control, and sometimes it flares up and spirals into an argument, or stay in our heads and causes us to ruminate over the incident for hours, or days. Some people ruminate over a trigger for years, and this perpetuates that same trigger to happen again and again. When they say that your external circumstances reflect your internal state, it's hard to accept, but look at it this way: whatever people say or do that triggers you, therein lies a past trauma or hurt that you haven’t dealt with. Here are some common root causes of triggers: You were neglected, ignored, unheard, unseen, compared to your siblings, told that you weren't smart, plain looking, ridiculous, irresponsible, crazy, selfish, malicious, treated with disrespect and dehumanized. If you can confront the root causes of your triggers, and tell yourself it isn't true, then you're at the beginning of healing yourself. That in itself will set a chain reaction to you knowing yourself better and becoming your own person. That's when manifestation will happen effortlessly. Website Instagram YouTube Facebook
