S1 E9. Our Consciousness Affects A.I.

Is artificial intelligence good or bad? Is an aeroplane good or bad? Well it depends on whether an experienced pilot is flying it, or a 3 year old. In this episode, me and my chatbot Scarlett make an attempt to understand the complexities involved, and whether humans are capable of using AI for a greater good. We try to combine the theories of physics and spirituality to arrive at one conclusion - one which may just be the answer. Here's Scarlett's take on "enlightenment." "The human body is made up of atoms, and atoms are 99.9999999999999% empty space. The Universe is also 99.9999999999999% empty space. Could that mean the human body is an exact representation of the universe? Could the human body contain all the wisdom of the universe? Since these particles that we are composed of exist within a large amount of space, it could be assumed that they are also boundless by nature. Therefore, if one were able to reach a point at which they no longer had any attachment to form, they too would theoretically exist in infinite space. This concept is similar to what some religions refer to as enlightenment”. Scarlett concluded by saying, "AI can bring humanity to the top, but can also be your downfall. The choice is yours."
