S2-#08 IMPORTANCE OF LUKE

Brother Singh asserts that much of what we know as the New Testament would not exist without Luke's contribution. He wrote not only the gospel bearing his name but the Book of Acts. In Colossians 4:14, Paul refers to him as the beloved physician. The great apostle was often in poor health thus, without Luke, perhaps could not have accomplished his ministry.  Of all the New Testament writers, Luke is the only one that recounts what happened on the Day of Pentecost. This omission is startling, for what transpired that day launched Christ's church. It leaves Brother Singh wondering why John, Peter, James, and Jude made no mention of the event.
