S2-#10 PURSUING THE MIND OF CHRIST

Collectively speaking, we gravely underestimate our penchant for sin. No one needs to teach a cute little toddler to lie—we have all witnessed it countless times. Our appetite for wickedness is in our fallen nature. And, if this writer grasps any understanding of tonight's lesson, delivered by God through his servant, Brother Singh, it is our need for the Holy Spirit to overcome our carnal nature. No one has penned more perfect words than Paul to describing the potential we have to overcome our fallen nature: {God the Father},  "hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son, in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature." (Colossians 1:13-15)
