S2-110 OUR DEAR HEAVENLY FATHER

In the enlightening message, Brother Singh emphasized that God the Father and His Son are two distinct entities. “The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever {the Father} doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (John 5:19). Thus, the Apostle Paul wrote: "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick {living} and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom." (1 Timothy 4:1) The Father is the begetter. The son is the begotten. Without a clear understanding of the nature of the Father and His Son, Jesus, we pray without knowledge—parroting religious phrases that are vain.
