From a personal perspective, this trial has been a period of growth for our pastor, and he is grateful that it has caused him to draw closer to God and seek His will for the Church. Our Lord's goal is "present to himself a glorious church, without having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish" (Ephesians 5:27). He will accomplish that goal with or without the cooperation of our local assembly.
