S2 - #58 WHOM DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?

Preachers are quick to say, "God sent me." Sometimes it is a truthful statement, but often it is not. False prophets were a problem at the beginning of the church age and are even more so as the age draws to a close. Paul described such boasters being false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. Little wonder! Even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.  So, it is not strange if his ministers also disguise themselves as ministers of righteousness. Their end will match their deeds. (See 2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Therefore, God must help the elect, those chosen for salvation, to recognize God-called preachers from uncalled preachers.
