Watering our Wednesday lesson, Brother Sam stressed that Hannah pressed God for an answer to her problem. He reminds us that God's promises are not automatic but are granted "to them who by patient continuance in well-doing SEEK for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life." Moreover, there are qualifications required to enter the Kingdom of God. "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? "Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
