5000 mcg folic acid is the standard of care for pregnancies that are considered high-risk and pregnancies in couples struggling with infertility. Unfortunately, many of those couples have MTHFR polymorphisms in one or both partners, and for anybody with MTHFR issues, this is going to actually impair the fertility process and damage their health. We'll talk about one particular research study that followed 33 couples with MTHFR polymorphisms who used the simple addition of 5-LMTHF to drastically change their successful pregnancy rates.
