  • Ep. 6 - Sorry Not Sorry

    11/18/2021

Life is A LOT right now and while I'm really trying lately, to stay on top of EVERYTHING and not lose my cool, its bound to happen that sh*t hits the fan. So today's episode I'm starting with a little life update, to show you, I'm not invincible, I crack and crumble under pressure, just like everyone else and I actually give myself permission to do so these days. And how good that feels, you can hear for yourself. The actual purpose of this episode, is addressing the big elephant in the room and that we are using the term I'm sorry way too often. SORRY - those 5 letters have lost their purpose and meaning, as its being thrown around by many, without even thinking twice. So with this, I'm unpacking and dismantling, something that a lot of us do, if not everyone does and you better buckle up, to have your bubbles bursted, Softies. This episode will surely make you dizzy, but hang tight and enjoy the ride, it'll be worth it, I promise. This will be Part 1 of a sorry not sorry series - as theres much more to unpack, but I know your heads will be spinning enough as is, after this, so as always lets be kind and gentle with ourselves and take one step after another  Book I mention in this episode : Unbound - Kasia Urbanik

    NOCLIP

WELCOME TO NOCLIP! We are a fortnightly, book club-styled podcast in which we attempt to go in-depth on an individual video game and figure out what makes it unique. Episodes are around an hour to an hour and a half long and primarily feature free form discussion on themes and mechanics present in each episode’s titular game. Bear in mind that we are not reviewers, so as far as we critique the games at hand, our intent is not to convince you to play any particular work. SPOILER WARNING: Given the depth at which we intend to cover the games in question, those which feature a story, plot, mechanical surprises, fun moments you may not have heard about or otherwise will be fully discussed, likely at length. Given this, it is advised that you go into each episode with the understanding that these elements will most likely be spoiled. If you are sensitive to that sort of thing, we recommend that you either play the game before listening to the podcast, or skip the episode altogether. (Though

    Bloodsucking Feminists

We are the Bloodsucking Feminists, your number one Scottish-Kiwi podcast focussed on the three Fs: Fangs, Feminism and Fangirling. Once a month we will be discussing a different vampire-related text – which means not just books and movies, but also comics, video games and even musicals – from an intersectional feminist fangirl perspective. Nothing is free from problematic content, but that doesn’t mean you can’t find something to like too. So join us as over the next few months we discuss the Big 3 of British vampire fiction, totally not squee over Tom Hiddleston and Marc Liebisch, translate the foreign language that is Kiwi culture and hate on Michael Crawford and Roman Polanski (for very different reasons, of course).

    Embrace The Void

Welcome friends, to a podcast for a darker timeline. Maybe the darkest of all timelines. Definitely not one of the good timelines. Maybe it’s always been a dark timeline, maybe the Hadron collider screwed us over. Science may never know. What we do know is that we live in the void. The void, a place where a chittering mass of void crabs can infest a person suit and win the presidency. The void, a place where we're just clever enough to know that climate change is happening, but not quite clever enough to do anything about it. The void seems terrible and cruel, but it loves you, in its own ironic way.
