S3-135 A BROKEN & CONTRITE HEART

 During the worship, God's Spirit directed his thoughts to Psalm 51, and from there, our lesson emerged. After a quarter of a Century of preaching without notes, our pastor is grateful to let God lead. A lyric from our worship resonated with Brother Singh: "If this vessel you cannot use—give me a new start." David wrote, "Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. Wash me throughly from mine iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me." (Psalm 51:1-3) David often stumbled in his walk before the Lord, but his heart was tender and penitent.
