Our Lord said to the Apostle John, “Behold, I come quickly {suddenly}; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” (Revelation 22:12) Teaching in his gentle but persistent manner, Brother Desmond stated, “We are not saved by good works, but rather saved unto good works.” He explains, when we are sincerely dedicated to the work of God, the works we do in the church develop our spiritual stability. Conversely, works performed with a carnal mindset (other than what God has purposed), will not save us.  (See Matthew 7:22-23)
