We admit that we live in bad times, yet our attitudes do not reflect the urgency we should be feeling. There is no expectation of peace or economic stability ahead. The Bible speaks of wars, rumors of wars, and nations rising against nations. It speaks of famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. Men's hearts will fail them for fear and dread of the things to come on the earth, yet we seem content in our complacency. When COVID restrictions closed the churches, it affected us. Some took the opportunity to stop attending church altogether, yet for a few, it drew them closer to God.
