Brother and Sister Singh have labored more than half their lives leading the Mississauga Assembly. Forty-three years is longer than Moses led the Hebrew children in the wilderness. Deuteronomy means “Tell it again.” In short, tell the story of God’s miraculous deliverance of the Hebrew children from slavery in Egypt. And so, we mark anniversaries in the church to recall how God has led His people over the years, in this local assembly. A handful of saints that formed the nucleus of believers Brother John Mowat gathered in 1978 are still with us today. Their faithfulness is a testimony to our community. Their light, reflecting Jesus, shines in the darkness, and the darkness of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) will never extinguish it.
