Watering Brother Singh’s lesson from Wednesday, Brother John Mowat gave an in-depth review of Romans Chapter One. He emphasized that Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, was called to be an apostle, set apart for the gospel of God. Just as Jesus personally called Peter and Andrew, and the other disciples, so too was Paul. After establishing his authority, Paul addressed his letter to those called to belong to Jesus Christ and all God’s beloved in Rome, who were called to be saints. Saints need leadership sensitive to the Spirit's leading to establish their faith in truth and correct doctrines.
