S4-43 THY KINGDOM COME

The Apostle Paul warned that the church would encounter ‘perilous times.’ He could not have envisioned it would be 2023! Compared to the enthusiasm of saints when Brother Singh first arrived in Canada 43 years ago, our love for God has severely diminished. Paul wrote: “For men shall be lovers of their own selves ... having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof…” (2 Timothy 3:1-5).  The great Apostle was not referring to the geo-political chaos of the world today, moral decay in society, or the threat of nuclear war. He spoke about Christ’s church and the malaise of people who claim to serve God.   T
