S4-56 MOTHER'S DAY MESSAGE (2023)

Mother’s Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of May. One brother criticized Brother Singh’s Facebook post in honor of mothers, mistakenly calling it a pagan observance. Brother Singh patiently corrected him, pointing out that the Body of Christ engages in many pagan observances (perhaps out of ignorance), but Mother’s Day is not one. The Haitian Brother’s critique opened the door for the Lord to give us a profound lesson on motherhood, parenting, pagan practices in the church, and a practical lesson on developing godly character.  We live in a perverted and confused world. The safety of Christ’s Church lies within the church and the foundation laid in the people’s hearts.
