Some would call Him Jehovah, but Jesus called Him ‘our Father who art in heaven.’ Because Jesus healed a man on the Sabbath, the Jews sought to persecute and slay him, but Jesus answered them, ‘My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.” Jesus did nothing that God the Father had not authorized or instructed him to do.
