Brother Singh reminds us that life is fragile, “Humanity is like a flower that blooms today and is gone tomorrow.” As we age, we grow acutely aware that our days are numbered. “Man, that is born of a woman is of few days and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow and continues not.” (Job 14:1-2)
