Recently she pivoted to become the Vice President of Medical Services for Be the Match, a non-profit focused on expanding access to life-saving treatments for patients in need of bone marrow and stem cell transplants. In this episode we discuss the realities of bone marrow transplants, as well as the hope we have in the future for improved treatments, technologies, and quality of life for patients, in addition to the continual need for people to join the National Bone Marrow Registry as donors.
