Safety concerns leave Rescue 118 unable to land at Letterkenny Hospital

It's emerged that the Rescue 118 helicopter is currently unable to land at Letterkenny University Hospital.It's due to health and safety concerns over the hospitals helipadAn inspection was carried out during which a number of issues of concern were highlighted.Instead, the helicopter is landing more than three kilometres away from the hospital with patients being transported via ambulance into the Emergency Department.
