THIS WEEK WE GO BACK 2 YEARS TO MAY OF 2023...  On the Equestrian Legacy Radio Network's LIVE:FROM NASHVILLE...We welcome this week Sally Barris and Sam Gay! Sally Barris is an A-list Nashville songwriter who has had songs covered by such top-level artists as Kathy Mattea, Martina McBride, and Lee Ann Womack. Her song “Let The Wind Chase You”, recorded by Trisha Yearwood and Keith Urban, received a Grammy nomination for vocal collaboration in 2009. Sally also performs with Templeton Thompson and Sam Gay in a trio called “The High Lonesome Dreamers”.Sam Gay is a long time veteran in the music industry. He began his career in Memphis in 1979 playing guitar and singing in local bands. Eventually, he was tapped to produce several independent record projects. In 1989, he moved to Nashville. He was signed as a staff songwriter at the Acuff-Rose Publishing company where he wrote "Me And The Moon" which was recorded by Bryan White on Bryan's million-selling debut album.
