Sam & Max ist erfrischend anders. Der Humor ist schräg wie bei Day of the Tentacle oder Monkey Island, aber gleichzeitig auch derbe wie man es vielleicht eher von den Simpsons kennt. Diese Mischung macht Sam & Max zu einer einmaligen Mischung, die man kennen sollte. Das Spiel ist dabei nicht besonders schwierig. Wirklich knackige Rätsel findet man keine.
