Sam is a survivor, a father of 6 and is on a hikoi (walk of awareness) throughout NZ to spread awareness about male sexual abuse. What helped him to heal was taking action, doing something was better than nothing, and his wife, gently at first and then more insistently pointing out that he needed to sort out the unresolved trauma he was suffering from, and impacting the family with.
