Careers Unscripted Ed Reyes Careers unscripted aims to help answer the mind hunting questions: What do you want to do when you grown up? What do you do for living? How can I further my career? We take a dive into people's career and personal history to put some tangible form to the building blocks they used to assemble the skills, knowledge, network, and other resources needed to get to where they are.In academics, there aren’t specific fields that help you achieve a particular job title. Take the example of CEO, there aren’t majors or academic programs that are labeled “CEO makers.” So we take a deep look of what are the steps to get that career. However, sometimes amidst the diapers, FAFSA applications, driving lessons, tadpole catching, laundry, and general every day life, we don't pause to see the little extra something. It's the twinkle in your kid's eye as he shows you what he made in art that week. It's the silent tear that you barely catch a glimpse of when she walks through the door. It's the never-ending bedtime questions that might be a stall tactic - or it just might be the moment he knows he has your undivided attention for the first time that day. That's the extra.
