SB Cubs defeated Dayton 7-0 in the final game of the series. The game was called due to rain delay in the bottom of the seventh inning. In the first inning, Johnathon Long singled on a ground ball. In the second inning, Brett Bateman scored on a Sac Fly, bringing the total runs to 3. In the fifth inning, Parker Chavers scored a Fielder's Choice, therefore bringing the runs to 4. In the sixth inning, Brian Kalmer homered, adding 2 more runs. Then in the seventh inning, Parker Chavers homered bringing the total runs to 7. The next series starts on Friday night vs Quad Cities.
