The South Bend Cubs ended a seven game losing streak and get their fourth shut-out of the season with a 4 to 0 victory over the Peoria Chiefs in Peoria Illinois tonight. Jordan Nwogu went 3 for 4 with a single, double and solo home run in top of the 2nd inning. Rafael Morel hit a 3 run home run in top of the 4th inning it was 4th of the season for Morel. Sam Armstrong (winning pitcher for the SB Cubs) pitched 5 innings and had seven strike outs. Nick Hull pitched 3 innings in relief and had seven strikes out himself including five in a row.
