The Global Mobility Project The Ohio State University Global mobility is a defining issue for the 21st century. Our project integrates the expertise of five faculty members - Vera Brunner-Sung, Jeffrey Cohen, Theodora Dragostinova, Yana Hashamova, and Robin Judd - working on global mobility from the perspectives of anthropology, history, literature, film/media studies, and filmmaking. Focusing on two main research questions, 'what does it mean to leave home' and 'how do communities accept newcomers,' we foster the exchange of ideas on campus, engage students in and outside the classroom, and forge connections with the wider community in Columbus and beyond. WiTH Podcast WiTH Connection Corner Women in Technology: Hollywood (WiTH) and their professional development committee host Connection Corner to present their thought leadership discussions.  To learn more visit WiTHollywood.org and subscribe to our WiTH Wire weekly newsletter. The Podcast That Must Not Be Named - A Harry Potter Podcast Drawbridge Media Co. The Podcast That Must Not Be Named is a chapter by chapter, spoiler-free (mostly) reread podcast of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series with an engineer and a math teacher. As a brother-sister team guilty of consistently annoying the muggles in our family when all get-togethers resulted in discussions of Snape’s so-called redemption, lack of educational oversight at Hogwarts, and Luna Lovegood, we created this show for their sanity. Being avid rereaders, we appreciate the challenge of remaining spoiler-free during chapter discussions but allow ourselves a reprieve in our 5 Chap Recap episodes where we open up spoiler-filled The Unrestricted Section to discuss any connective tissue with future story elements. We also created this show for first-time readers (including our own children) discovering this amazing wizarding world and its timeless cast of characters. We celebrate all things imaginative and take our listeners into the mythical, fantastical, sometimes scary, but always wonde Movies & Us Movies & Us Movies & Us is a weekly gathering place filled with conversations about movies, stories, and connection. Our name sums it up: we’re all about movies and the powerful ways we can connect with each other and the world around us. This podcast is about all of us and our shared stories. Join us in conversations about movies and the stories that connect us!
