Joe Thompson resigns as US Attorney and Jordan Addison really can't get out of his own way.Six federal prosecutors, including Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson, resigned Tuesday amid mounting pressure to investigate the widow of Renee Good, the New York Times reports.The Department of Justice pressed for a criminal investigation into the actions of Renee Good’s widow on the day she was shot and killed by ICE agent Jonathan Ross, according to the report. Good’s wife was seen on video engaging with Ross before the shooting, but none of her actions in the widely shared video appeared to be illegal.Harry Jacobs, Thomas Calhoun-Lopez and Melinda Williams were also among those who resigned on Tuesday, according to the Times.
