Search For Lewis Selam Continues - Sat May 7 2022

A KWSO report on the continuing search for Warm Springs Tribal Member Louie Selam who vwas last seen on Wednesday March 16 2022, leaving Bi-Mart in Madras. His car was discovered days later stuck in snow 20 miles west of Warm Springs near the Peter’s Pasture areas of the Warm Springs Reservation. Initial search efforts to locate the 71 year old Tribal Elder failed. With no leads and a lack of resources, Warm Springs Public Safety called off the search at the end of March. The family continues to organize search parties and hope to find their relative. Selam’s brother appealed for help early on in the search effort His daughters also requested help from the community The family is resolved to continue to search for their loved one.
