Northern Territory police say they're hopeful of finding missing 5-year-old Sharon Granites alive as the third day of the search for her continues in Alice Springs.There have been no sightings of Sharon or the man suspected of abducting her, 47-year-old Jefferson Lewis, but police say they're following up potential tip off's from members of the public.They say Mr Lewis was seen holding hands with a little girl at the Old Timers town camp late in the evening on Saturday night before she went missing.The federal government has released draft laws threatening tech giants with a new tax if they fail to pay for the news content they publish on their platforms.The News Bargaining Incentive will tax Meta, Google and TikTok two-point-two-five per cent of their Australian revenue - a levy they can offset by striking deals with news publishers.The tax is expected to raise up to $250 million a year, which will be distributed to media companies.And Prime minister Anthony Albanese says today is a day for Australians to remember the 35 people whose "lives and futures were stolen from them" in the Port Arthur tragedy.Today marks 30 years since the worst mass shooting in Australia's modern history at Port Arthur, south-east of Hobart. A memorial service is being held at the Port Arthur memorial garden.
