Welcome to Cultivating Second Chair Leaders: Conversations about living out servant leadership in the second chair!

In Season 4, we will explore Spirit-led practices that unite people for service to Christ and the world. When we invest in building the community, identifying common vision, promoting communication, managing anxiety and conflict and nurturing collaboration, we flourish in Christian community as God intended.

This is your time to connect in community, find direction, and find freedom to focus on your identity as a Christ-like servant leader in the second chair.

Karpenko Institute for Nurturing and Developing Leadership Excellence (KINDLE) provides a model for living out Christ-like servant leadership. For the 2nd chair leader, there is significant value in the ability to lead up, down and across in the building and nurturing of relationships.

This podcast is made possible by KINDLE, an incarnational ministry that encourages, prepares, and supports a growing number of God’s people as they live out their baptismal calling to be Christ-like servant leaders in their congregations, homes, workplaces, communities, and the world. Red Cross Girls on the French Firing Line, The by Margaret Vandercook (1877 - 1958) LibriVox This is the second in a series of captivating period historic romance and adventure books entitled "The Red Cross Girls." The series trails four American girls who serve as Red Cross nurses during WWI in Europe. This time, Eugenia, a prim and proper New Englander, has a romance with a handsome Frenchman. Will it be a happily-ever after? The sequence of books gives perception into women's changing roles in society, although the progress of change is far from complete. (Source: paperback book jacket) Emily Fox-Seton by Frances Hodgson Burnett Loyal Books Have you ever wondered what happened to Cinderella after she married the prince? Have you ever asked yourself if it was really "happy ever after?" Actually, in this Victorian melodrama, it's not. 35-years-old Emily Fox-Seton, quite penniless and a little lonely, saves herself from becoming an old maid by agreeing to a marriage proposal from the marquess of Walderhurst, thus becoming "one of the richest Marchionesses in England". She is naïve, kind and good. She doesn't believe that people are really willing to hurt her, but why are all these strange accidents happening? This novel is divided into 2 parts. The first, "The Making Of A Marchioness" tells about the odd courtship of Emily and lord Walderhurst. The second part, "The Methods of Lady Walderhurst", most of the book, tells what happens after… This adult fairy tale, which, by mistakes, becomes a realistic novel, is a captivating book.I wish you all a wonderful reading.
