Season of Welcoming

Episode 2.13 -- 2.08.26. Season of Welcoming. How have you experienced a welcoming community here? How can we better welcome others in the future? Scripture passages:Romans 12:4-5. “For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and belong to each other.” Romans 15:7. “Welcome one another, then, as Christ welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Matthew 25:35-36. “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.” Hebrews 13:2. “Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Acts 2:42-47. “They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal life, to the breaking of the bread and to the prayers. Awe came upon everyone, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their property and possessions and divide them among all according to each one’s need. Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple area and to breaking bread in their homes. They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. And every day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.”
